Research Concept
Building on our unique position as a research institute within a university of medicine and dentistry, we collaborate closely with clinicians to identify clinical needs related to medical devices. Grounded in materials engineering, we conduct materials research and development to meet those needs. We take an integrated approach spanning the entire process from materials development to medical device application. By using materials design to achieve functions and performance that cannot be realized through device geometry alone, we aim to contribute to advances in medicine.
