In the Dept. Medicinal Organic Chemistry, we aim to harness the power of organic chemistry to precisely manipulate compounds and develop new technologies that address a wide range of societal challenges. Our laboratory is newly established (April 2026) but is already well equipped, providing an excellent environment for conducting research. As a new laboratory, it offers many opportunities for growth, including conference presentations and academic publications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fourth-year undergraduate students from other universities may be able to join our research group as visiting students. Please consult a faculty member at your home institution to confirm whether this option is available. We are happy to arrange lab visits at any time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Please apply to the Master\u2019s Program in the Graduate School of Medical and Dental Sciences<\/a> (see the application guidelines<\/a>). We are happy to arrange lab visits at any time. The entrance examination is held in August. Applicants from advanced courses at KOSEN colleges are also very welcome. If you plan to apply, please contact Prof. Kanemoto in advance and obtain approval before submitting your application.<\/p>\n\n\n\n If you wish to enter the master\u2019s program (or Ph. D program) and are not currently affiliated with an institution, you may join our university as a graduate research student until formal enrollment (this period will also count as research experience).
